Instuments Smaller Than a V'cello
Here's a small sampling. Please CONTACT me for more information about ordering small instruments of whatever description.
Arched-Top Guitar-Body Octave Mandolin
I made this when a lifelong family friend requested one for herself. The form is informed (haha) by D'Angelicaoo hollow body guitars. The sound is so sweet and mellow compared to a "regular" mandolin, but still has that double-stringed ring.
Electric Bass
Li'l Bruiser --so named because of it's small size and purplish brownish color--we are pacifists here. Fretless.
Kermit--Yes, it is green. Fretted
Both of the electric basses are short-scale 24 1/2 string length with P Bass electronics.
I love the sound of short string basses, as I think the lower tension makes them sound extra Phat.
Acoustic Guitar
I love small guitars. This one is #6 of eleven modeled after a 1928 -0- sized Martin .
5-String Fretless Pony Banjo
I have made probably 25 banjos for myself and friends and relations.
This one is modeled after one I saw in an early photo of a black man playing the banjo on the docks of New Orleans.
